Food Focus

When I originally began this blog, the plan was to help people be healthier through food and to make healthy eating more accessible. I lost that focus during the pandemic and I’d like to turn my focus back to food and healthy eating.

Whether we enjoy cooking or not, the pandemic forced us to figure out how to live without frequently going to restaurants. Being forced to feed ourselves, some were learning how to cook for the first time.

And now, with rising inflation, it is even more important to cook healthy, tasty food that is also economical.

We’ve been hearing a lot about plant based eating these days. And you have most likely noticed all of the new plant based meats and cheeses on the market. Although there has been a lot of focus on these things they are fairly expensive and are not a requirement for plant based eating.

I would like to show you some of my favorite plant based recipes that use regular ingredients and are easy and economical. I will also share some tips on how to convert some of your favorite recipes to make them plant based. Sure you can add some plant based meat or cheese to them if that makes the transition to plant based eating easier, but it is definitely not necessary.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Here’s to a healthier, happier you!
